Crime, fear of crime, and anti-social behaviour are important considerations in the quality of life of local communities. Although Derbyshire continues to be one of the safest places across England, community safety remains a top priority for the county. The Derbyshire Safer Communities Board brings together senior representatives from key organisations and Community Safety Partnerships and provides strong leadership and direction to tackle crime, disorder and substance misuse across the county.
