Cost of Living
The cost of living has been increasing across the UK since early 2021. Marked increases in the prices of food, energy, housing and fuel is affecting the ability to afford the essential goods and services necessary for health and wellbeing.
Work to support Derbyshire residents focuses on nine ‘pillars’ that have been identified to direct actions to address key cost of living concerns:

- Income maximisation
- Affordable credit
- Employment opportunities
- Digital inclusion
