Mental wellbeing can be simply described as feeling good and functioning well. It’s an important part of everyone’s life, good mental health and wellbeing is directly linked to good physical health, increased life expectancy, improved quality of life, better educational achievement and improved employability. There are many factors that contribute to mental wellbeing and we monitor these factors to enable appropriate prevention and treatment approaches.
