DPH Annual Report
Directors of Public Health have a statutory requirement to write an annual independent report on the health of their population. The report is to raise awareness and understanding of local health issues, highlight areas of specific concern, and make recommendations for change.
This year’s DPH report highlights why smoking is still the leading cause of preventable deaths in Derbyshire and calls for renewed efforts to make the county smokefree by 2030.
